5 Secrets of Happy and Healthy Holidays!

Enjoy this very special time in a close circle of your family and friends! Have the benefit of everything that the joyful season brings ensuring at the same time that you stay healthy. Try to think about the following tips:
  1. Enjoy any of your favourite outdoor activities daily such as: ice skating, walking or skiing.
  2. Spend plenty of uninterrupted time with your family and friends.
  3. Eat moderately. Try varieties of delicious dishes to get pleasure from holiday tastes and aromas!
  4. Keep of the viruses and germs away! Remember this is not only a holiday but also a flu season too. Get your Flu shoot and plenty of fresh fruits (especially those high in Vitamin C and antioxidants).
  5. Finally get plenty of rest! Remember it’s OK not to do anything and just to relax!

My name is Janusz. I am an RN and Master of Clinical Science (MCISc) student
at the University of Western Ontario School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
My clinical interest areas are focused on the Patients Safety & Risk Management.

Start restoring your health & body NOW!




Have you ever thought about joining a gym, eating healthier or feeling better? There is a good chance that you did! Perhaps you have purchased an exercise machine or a gym membership and use it once or twice. Your likely excuse.... "not enough time" Do not worry! You are not alone.
So what does it take to keep up with your goals? What about making them part of your day. What about doing it because you have to.
  • Consider: Outdoor Gym!
  • Walking to work - instead of running in a gym (you'll walk daily because you got to work!)

  • Lifting your grocery home - rather than weights - use 2 shopping bags (one in each hand)

  • Climb stairs at work - not in a gym!

  • Go outside for your lunch! Is there a park close to your workplace? Even if not; there must be a bench! Use it to exercise and not to seat: do some push ups or deeps for a start!

  • Finally, take time to relax at home! Remember you do not need to be ALWAYS busy!

You do not need neither; an additional time and money nor to run on a machine to feel healthier!
All you nees is what you already have. Just start or simply.....Just Do It!
